Encouraging response from the students and the appreciation of our learned teachers spread all over the country gave us an opportunity to present the tenth revised edition of the book “GRB A Textbook of Organic Chemistry for NEET”. The book has been written according to the CBSE syllabus for admission to medical professional courses across the country. The present trend in competitive examinations is the stress on an objective rather than subjective treatment of the subject matter. The medical entrance examinations of India include objective questions and assertion-reason type questions. With these objectives in mind, we have tried to present this book for the noble cause of medical aspirants. The complete text has been critically examined and thoroughly revised. Each chapter is provided with a synopsis, i.e., important points to remember for quick revision of the subject matter before the examination.
